Ultraviolet light or radiation if you will (UV radiation) from sunlight is divided into 3 UV spectra: UVA, UVB and UVC light. UV radiation with a wavelength of 100-280 nanometers is called UVC. UVC can be used to eliminate viruses, bacteria, mold, yeast and more.

Like visible light, UVC light is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of between 100-280 nanometers.


UVC is electromagnetic force that can damage the microorganisms' DNA and RNA so that they cannot replicate, thereby effectively killing the microorganisms or inactivating viruses.

UVC is used to remove and / or deactivate harmful organisms and more that are in our environment. Here we can deactivate viruses (SARS-CoV-2 or other influenza viruses), for example. We do this with mobile, integrable and / or stationary devices located in the room where we want to hit the organisms.


The most common problem in our environment is the formation of biofilm in HVAC (ventilation systems). This biofilm consists of bacteria and mold that live on the surfaces inside the HVAC plant, resulting in a high level of bioaerosols. Bioaerosols include smaller particles of mold, bacteria and pollen as well as fragments from these that are airborne.


Inhalation of these can give rise to respiratory diseases such as asthma and allergies, which cause significantly reduced productivity and increased absenteeism. The symptoms can often be watery eyes, headaches and as mentioned severe allergy and asthma reactions over time.
